A pet's genome is permanent data. It deserves permanent care.
These are the principles Aevum Pet is building to. A formal privacy notice will follow legal and operational review.
What we intend to collect
Owner contact details, the pet's profile and health history, laboratory results, genomic data and connected-device information only where included and consented.
Why we process it
To produce, review and update the pet's report and operate the service around it.
Research and secondary use
Joining the service is not consent to research, sharing or commercialisation. Any such use would require separate, optional consent.
Storage and access
Sensitive data is intended to be encrypted and limited to the people and systems required to provide the service.
Owner controls
Owners should be able to request an export, correct supplied information, withdraw consent or request deletion.
Service providers
Laboratories and infrastructure providers process only the data required for their contracted work. Personal data is not sold.
Retention
Because reinterpretation is central, data may be retained while the owner uses the service and removed on request, subject to legal obligations.
